If you have everything you need, lets get started.
Frame
Open your graphic in PSP and resize to no larger than 350 pixels on the longest side.
If needed, Adjust, Sharpeness, Sharpen.
Using your eye dropper chose two complimenting colours from your graphic for your background and foreground colours.
Image, add border.
Symmetrical UNchecked.
Top 2
Bottom 4
Left and Right 30
Colour The darker of the two colours you selected earlier.
Click on the border with your magic wand.
Effects, 3D effects, Inner bevel and use the following settings:-
Bevel Pie
Width 8
Smoothness 15
Depth 4
Ambience and Shininess 0
Color White
Angle 251
Intensity 45
Elevation 35
Click OK
Selections, select none.
Image, add border, this time have symmetrical checked. Add a 10 pixel border using the lighter
colour from your graphic.
Select the border with your magic wand and repeat the inner bevel from step 6
Selections, select none.
Image, add border, using your darker colour, UNcheck symmetrical and use the following settings:-
Top and bottom 10
Left and Right 60
Select this border with your magic wand.
Effects, Texture Effects, Texture and select texture Corel 15:-
Size 40
Smoothness 4
Depth 2
Ambience 20
Shininess 0
Color White
Angle 90
Intensity 38
Elevation 33
Click ok.
Effects, 3D effects, inner bevel with the same settings as before.
Selections, selection none.
Image, add border, and add a 10 pixel symmetrical border using your darker colour.
Select this border with your magic wand.
Effects, 3D effects and again add the inner bevel as before.
Selections, select none.
If the graphic needs to be merged, merge all (flatten) now, and save as a jpeg.
Hit Shift + D to make a duplicate of our framed image. You can now close down the original.
Background
We will now work on the duplicate of the framed graphic.
Effects, Plugins, VM Distortion, Radial Pox and apply the default settings.
Effects, Plugins, VM Distortion, Tilomat 2000 with the default settings.
Save now as a jpeg.
Open the saved background in 20/20.
Image, Muted Background. I set the slider to 50%, but this will depend on the graphic
you are using. Remember you will be wanting text over this, so don't have it
too dark.
File, save.
You are now ready to take it all over to Letter Creator.
