TRIPLE MASK FRAME

This tutorial is my own creation. Any resemblance to another is purely co-incidental. Please do not copy, translate or place on any other site. You are more than welcome to use this tutorial in a group setting, but please link to this page only.

A graphic of your choice
The graphic used for this tutorial is used according to Group Permission.
The mask I used.
I do not know the creator of this mask to give credit. If it is yours, please let me know so that credit can be given.
If you have everything you need, lets begin.
Open your graphic and using your eye dropper tool, chose two complimenting colours from it, and using the lighter of your two chosen colours as your foreground colour.
In your material palette, click on the foreground colour and set this to Gradient, selecting the Sunburst gradient with 0 repeats.
Resize your graphic so that it is no longer than 350 pixels.
Add a new raster layer, and flood fill with your gradient.
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disc and search for the mask 33, invert transparency Unchecked.
Layers, Merge, Merge Group.
Add a new raster layer and drag it to the top of your layer palette.
Image, Canvas size, and increase your canvas size by 20 pixels both length and width.
Placement: Center
Flood fill with your background colour.
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disc and apply the same mask again.
Layers, Merge, Merge Group.
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:-
- Vertical: 2
- Horizontal: -6 (minus)
- Opacity: 65
- Blur: 8
- Colour: Black
- Shadow on new layer: Unchecked
Add a new raster layer and drag it to the top of your layer palette.
Image, Canvas size, and increase your canvas size by 30 pixels both length and width.
Placement: Center
Flood fill with your gradient.
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask from Disc and apply the same mask again.
Layers, Merge, Merge group.
In your layer palette, right click and merge all, flatten.
Add a new layer for your watermark.
Merge all, flatten.
Image, Add Border and add a 2 pixel border using the darkest colour chosen from your graphic.
Save as a jpeg.
You can now add a background of your choice.
