The tube used for this tutorial was from a group share. It the tube is yours, please let me know so I can give proper credit, or remove if you so wish.
Open a new 1024 x 350 pixel transparent image.
Open your tube, and using your eye dropper chose a complimenting colour from your tube.<>
Flood fill our transparent image.
Effects, Illumination Effects, Sunburst and use the following settings:-
Light Spot:
Brightness: 80
Horizontal: 8
Vertical: 34
Rays:
Density: 50
Brightness: 75
Circles:
Brightness: 80
Image, rotate, free rotate. Rotate to the left, 90 degrees all layers checked.
Layers, load/save mask, Load mask from disk and using your drop down menu, search for the 03test mask, invert transparency checked.
Layers, merge, Merge Group.
Image, rotate, free rotate. Rotate to the right, 90 degrees all layers checked.
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen.
Click on your tube, and edit copy.
Back to our main image, edit, paste as new layer. Resize if needed.
Using your mover tool, move the tube over to the left side of our graphic.
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:-
Vertical and Horizontal: 1
Opacity: 55
Blur: 5
Color: Black
Shadow on new layer: Unchecked.
Right click on the tube layer in your layer palette and duplicate.
Image, mirror.
Merge visible.
Image, canvas size and use the following settings:-
Width: 1024
Height: 900
Placement: Top middle arrow.
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:-
Vertical: 15
Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 45
Blur: 15
Color: Black
Shadow on new layer: Unchecked.
Add a new raster layer and drag this layer to the bottom.
Flood fill with the colour you used earlier.
Effects, Illumination Effects, Sunburst and use the same settings as before.
