STREAMER BACKGROUND
This tutorial is my own creation. Any resemblance to another is purely co-incidental. Please do not copy, translate or place on another site. You are more than welcome to use this tutorial in a group setting, but please link to this page only.

Video Rave
This is one of Harry’s Filters. There are three downloads for these filters, and I’m not quit sure which one the Streamer filter came with. You may as well nab them all.
FM Tile Tools
A tube of your choice.
The tube that I have used for this tutorial has been used with permission from OkieDee.
Ok, if you have everything you need, let's begin.
- Open your tube. Resize if any wider than 350 pixel.
- Image, resize and resize by 85%, all layers Unchecked.
- Image, canvas size and use the following settings:-
- Width: 1024
- Height: Total of your graphic + 30
- Placement: Left middle arrow.
- Duplicate your tube 4 times.
- Using your mover tool, move copy (4) over slightly to the right so that it is overlapping our original tube just a little, and down towards the bottom of our transparent image.
- Using your mover tool, move copy 3 over past copy 4. Image, flip, and move it up towards the top of our transparent image.
- Using your mover tool, move copy 2 over past copy 3 and down towards the bottom of our transparent image.
- Using your mover tool, move copy over past copy 2. Image, flip and move it up towards the top of our transparent image.
- Close the bottom layer (our original tube) by clicking on the eye. Making sure one of the other four layers is the active layer, merge visible.
- You can keep the original tube layer closed for the time being.
- Move the merged layer so that it is now the bottom layer.
- Effects, Plugins, Video Rave, Streamer and use the following settings:-
- Duplicate this layer. Image, flip.
- Effects, Plugins, Video Rave, Streamer and use the same settings as before.
- Making sure one of the bottom two layers is the active layer, merge visible.
- Effects, Plugins, Video Rave, Streamer and apply the same settings as before.
- Duplicate this layer, image mirror.
- Merge visible the bottom two layers.
- Effects, Distortion Effects, Wave and use the following settings:-
- Horizontal and Vertical displacement:
- Amplitude: 5
- Wavelength: 70
- Edge Mode: Transparent.
- Lower the opacity of this layer to 50%.
- Duplicate this layer, image flip.
- Add a new layer. Layers, arrange, send to bottom.
- Using your eye dropper, chose a nice colour from your tube and flood fill the bottom layer. Lower the opacity of this layer to 50% also unless you’ve chosen a light colour to begin with.
- Make sure one of the three bottom layers is active, merge visible.
- Open the top layer and make sure it’s the active layer.
- Effects, 3D Effects, Drop shadow and use the following settings:-
- Vertical: -4 (minus)
- Horizontal: 8
- Opacity: 45
- Blur: 5
- Color: Black
- Shadow on new layer: Unchecked.
- Close this layer again.
- Highlight your bottom layer to make it the active layer and lower the opacity again to around 50%.
- Effects, Plugins, FM Tile Tools, Seamless Tile and use the following settings:-
- Border Width: 0.250
- Stretch Control: 0.172
- Vertical: Checked
- Add a new layer. Layers, arrange bring to top.
- Add your watermark. Merge all flatten.
