Paint Shop Pro 9

Filter Attack


  1. Open the graphic of choice and resize to a suitable size.

  2. In your layer palette, right click and promote background layer.

  3. Right click again and duplicate.

  4. Using your eye dropper chose a nice complimenting colour from your graphic for your background colour.

  5. Effects, Plugins, Filter Attack and use the following settings:-

  6. Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel and use the following settings:-

    • Pie Bevel
    • Width:      8
    • Smoothness:      0
    • Depth:      2
    • Ambience:      0
    • Shininess:      2
    • Color:      White
    • Angle:      315
    • Intensity:      50
    • Elevation:      30

  7. Make sure the bottom layer is the active layer by selecting it in your layer palette.

  8. Effects, Plugins, Filter Attack and use the following settings:-

  9. Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel and repeat the settings used earlier.

  10. Add a new raster layer and drag to the bottom.

  11. Flood fill with the background colour.

  12. Add a new raster layer and drag it to the top.

  13. Add your watermark.

  14. Merge all flatten.

  15. Open a new 300 x 300 transparent image.

  16. Flood fill with your background colour. Merge all flatten for your background.

    You can now take it into Letter Creator.
