POST & TOP SIDE BORDER
This tutorial is my own creation. Any resemblance to another is purely co-incidental. Please do not pull it apart and claim it as your own. Tools needed to complete this tutorial:-
Paint Shop Pro V 8
A graphic of your choice.

If you have everything you need, let’s begin.
- Open your graphic and resize so that it is no wider than 350 pixels. Graphics that are bigger in length than width will work best with this tutorial.
- Shift + D twice. Close the original and minimize one of the copies for now.
BACKGROUND
- Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur and use a setting of 15.
- Effects, Artistic Effects, Posterize and use a setting of 20.
- Effects, Image Effects, Seamless Tiling and use the following settings:-
- Corner checked.
- Bidirectional checked.
- Curved checked.
- Minimize your background for now and maximize the 2nd copy of your graphic.
SIDE BORDER
- Right click in your layer palette and promote background layer.
- Duplicate this layer.
- Image, resize and resize by 90%, all layers Unchecked.
- Selections, select all.
- Selections, float. Selections, defloat.
- Selections, invert.
- Highlight raster 1 in your layer palette.
- Effects, Artistic Effects, Topography and use the following settings:-
- Width: 20
- Density: 8
- Angle: 45
- Color: White
- Highlight copy of raster 1, effects, 3D Effects, Drop shadow and use the following settings:-
- Vertical: 2
- Horizontal: 5
- Opacity: 65
- Blur: 5
- Color: Black
- Repeat drop shadow using the following settings:-
- Vertical: -2 (minus)
- Horizontal: -8
- Opacity: 45
- Blur: 10
- Color: Black
- Deselect.
- Merge visible.
- Image, canvas size and use the following settings:-
- Width: 1024
- Height: Total of your graphic + 25
- Placement: Left middle arrow.
- Using your mover tool, move your main graphic a little to the right away from the edge of our transparency.
- Effects, 3D Effects, Drop shadow and use the same settings as last used, but change the vertical and horizontal to 2 and 8 (not minus).
- Add a new layer.
- In your color palette, change your foreground to pattern, and using the drop down list, search for the background pattern that we made earlier.
- Flood fill the new layer.
- Layers, arrange, send to bottom.
- Lower the opacity so that it will be easier to read text.
- Add a new layer for your watermark.
- Merge all, flatten.
