Paint Shop Pro V8
A graphic of your choice.
I do not know the artist of the graphic used for this tutorial. If it is your artwork, please let me know so I can give proper credit, or remove if so needed.
No outside filters were used in the creation of this frame.

If you have everything you need, let's begin.
- Open your image of choice. (An image that is a lot wider than longer works best).
- Shift + D to duplicate the image. Close the original.
- Image, add border and add a 2 pixel white or light grey border, depending on the colours in your graphic.
- Select the border with your magic wand, tolerance and feather set to 0.
- Flood fill with a gold gradient and deselect.
- Using your eye dropper, select a dark foreground and light background colour from your image.
- Image add border, and a 2 pixel border using your foreground colour.
- Image, add border and add a 2 pixel border using your background colour.
- Image, add border and add a 5 pixel white border. Select the border with your magic wand and flood fill with the same gold gradient you used before.
- Deselect.
- Repeat steps 7 to 10.
- Image add border. Make sure symmetrical is unchecked. Set you bottom and top to 0.
Set your left and right to 25, colour white.
- Holding down your shift key, click on both side borders with your magic wand.
- Flood fill with the gold gradient. Leave selected.
- Selections, promote selection to layer.
- Effects, 3D Effects, inner bevel and apply the following settings:-
- Bevel: Pie
- Width: 15
- Smoothness: 15
- Depth: 1
- Ambience: 0
- Shininess: 50
- Color: White
- Angle: 315
- Intensity: 43
- Elevation: 30
- Effects, 3D Effects, Drop shadow and use the following settings:-
- Vertical: 0
- Horizontal: 4
- Opacity: 55
- Blur: 10
- Color: Black
- Repeat the drop shadow but change the horizontal to -4 (minus).
- Deselect.
- Duplicate this layer.
- Image, rotate, free rotate and rotate 45 degrees to the right. All layers unchecked.
- Merge all, flatten.
- Repeat steps 3 to 10.
- Add a new white border, this, symmetrical unchecked. Top and bottom set to 25, left and right set to 0.
- Holding down your shift key, select the top and bottom border with your magic wand.
- Flood fill with your gold fill.
- Effects, 3D Effects, inner bevel and use the same settings as before.
- Selections, promote selection to layer. Deselect.
- Duplicate this layer. Image, rotate, and this time rotate 45 degrees to the left, again, all layers UNchecked.
- Selections, select all. Selections, float. Selections, defloat.
- Effects 3D effects, drop shadow and use the same settings as before.
- Repeat the drop shadow changing your horizontal to 4.
- Deselect.
- Merge all, flatten.
- Image, add border and add a 2 pixel border using your background colour.
- Image, add border and add a 2 pixel border using your foreground colour.
- Image, add border, and add a 2 pixel white border.
- Select the border with your magic wand and flood fill with your gold gradient.
- Deselect.
- Image, resize and resize to a size you like.
- Add a new layer for your watermark.
