20/20
Optional for background

  1. Open your graphic and hit shift + D to duplicate. Close the original.

  2. Right click in your layer palette and promote background layer.

  3. Right click again and duplicate your layer.

  4. Image, resize and resize by 85%, all layers Unchecked.

  5. Make sure the bottom layer is the active layer.

  6. Effects, Image Effects, Seamless Tiling and use the following settings:-

    • Corner checked
    • Bidirectional checked
    • Transition:       100
    • Curved checked.

  7. Highlight the top layer.

  8. Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:-

    • Vertical & Horizontal:       3
    • Opacity:       55
    • Blur:       15
    • Shadow on new layer:       Unchecked.

  9. Merge all, flatten.

  10. Image, add border and add a 2 pixel border using a dark colour from your graphic.

  11. Image, add border and add a 2 pixel border using a light colour from your graphic.

  12. Image, add border and add a 2 pixel border using a dark colour from your graphic.

  13. Right click in your layer palette and duplicate.

  14. Image, resize and resize by 85%, all layers UNchecked.

  15. Using your mover tool, move the resize layer up towards the left hand corner of your graphic.

  16. Right click in your layer palette, and duplicate.

  17. Resize this by 85% all layers Unchecked.

  18. Again, using your mover tool, move this top layer over and up towards the left side of your graphic.

  19. Right click in your layer palette and duplicate.

  20. Image, resize and resize by 50%, all layers Unchecked.

  21. Using your mover tool, move this layer down to the bottom right hand side of your graphic.

  22. Shift + D to duplicate this image and minimize for now.

  23. Making sure the top layer is the active layer go to:-

  24. Effects, 3D Effects, Drop shadow and use the same settings as before.

  25. Click on the 2nd top layer to make it the active layer.

  26. Edit, repeat drop shadow.

  27. Click on the 2nd bottom layer to make it the active layer.

  28. Edit, repeat drop shadow.

  29. Add a new raster layer.

  30. Layers, arrange, bring to the top.

  31. Add your watermark.

  32. Merge all flatten.

  33. Save to your desktop as a jpeg and you can now close this down.

  34. Maximize the copy that we made earlier.

  35. Merge all, flatten.

  36. Save as your background and open in 20/20.

  37. Image, Muted Background and make sure seamless is checked.

  38. Lower the opacity bar to a level that you like.

  39. File, Save and you can now put it all together in Letter Creator.
