Tools needed to complete this tutorial:-

Paint Shop Pro. I used version 8 but I am sure it can be done in earlier versions.

Filter Factory A.

If you need help with organizing your filters, don't hesitate to contact me.

A tube of your choice.

I do not know where this tube came from. If anyone knows, or if it is yours,
please let me know and I will give you the credit for it, or remove it.

Bridgnorth font which can get from HERE..

If you have everything you need, lets begin.

  1. Open your tube in PSP.

  2. Shift + D to duplicate and close the original.

  3. In your layer palette, duplicate this layer.

  4. Image, resize, and resize by 75%, all layers unchecked.

  5. Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen.

  6. Click on the eye beside copy of layer 1 to hide it for now.

  7. Effects, plugins, Filter Factory Gallery A, Triangular Mosiac Filter and use the following settings:-

    • Size:     12
    • Mode:     72
    • Apply.

  8. Effects, plugins, Filter Factory Gallery A, Zoom out with the following settings:-

    • Center X     71
    • Center Y     88
    • Zoom Speed     66
    • Intensity     255
    • Apply

  9. Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, and use the following settings:-

    • Gaussian checked
    • Noise:     25%
    • Monochrome     Checked
    • Click OK.

  10. Edit, repeat Add Noise.

  11. In your layer palette, lower the opacity to this layer to around the 45% mark.

  12. Effects, 3D effects, drop shadow and use the following settings:-

    • Vertical:     0
    • Horizontal:     8
    • Opacity:     65
    • Blur:     10
    • Colour:     Black
    • Click OK

  13. Open your copy of Raster 1 layer by clicking on the eye to remove the red X.

  14. Make sure this layer is highlighted, effects, 3D effects, Drop shadow and use the same settings
    as before.

  15. In your colour palette, chose two colours from your tube. If you are using the one supplied,
    I selected #BED2A7 for the stroke colour and #636A21 for the fill colour.

  16. Click on your Font tool and set your font to Bridgnorth, size 48, stroke width 2.0,
    Anti-alias checked, Bold selected, alignment centered. Create as Vector.

  17. Type your text into the text box and click apply.

  18. While still a vector, move move the handles out to stretch the text to the size you like.

  19. Once your are happy with the placement and sizing, right click in the layer palette,
    and convert to raster layer.

  20. Rename this layer Text.

  21. Duplicate the text layer and the close the copy of text layer by clicking on the eye next to it.

  22. Making sure the text layer is active repeat steps 7 to 10.

  23. Lower the opacity of this layer to around the 45%.

  24. You can now click on the eye again to open the copy of text layer.

  25. Making sure this layer is the highlighted layer, go to effects, 3D effects, inner bevel
    and use the following settings:-

    • Bevel:     Pie Shape
    • Width:     8
    • Smoothness:     5
    • Depth:     4
    • Ambience:     0
    • Shininess:     0
    • Color:     White
    • Angle:     331
    • Intensity:     45
    • Elevation:     35
    • Click OK.

  26. Effects, 3D effects, drop shadow and use the same settings as before.

  27. New raster layer and add your watermark.
