A graphic of your choice
The graphic used in this tutorial is used with according to Group Permission.
Cybia Screenworks
FRAME
- Open your graphic and resize so that it’s no longer than 350 pixels.
- Windows, Duplicate and minimize the duplicate.
- Edit, copy.
- Using your eye dropper tool chose a dark foreground and light background colour from your graphic.
- Image, add border and add a 2 pixel border using your foreground colour.
- Image add border and add a 10 pixel border using your background colour.
- Select the border with your magic wand.
- Effects, Plugins, Cybia, Screenworks and use the following settings:-
- Deselect.
- Image, add border and add a 2 pixel border using your foreground colour.
- Image add border and add a 25 pixel border using your background colour.
- Select the border with your magic wand.
- Edit, paste into selection.
- Effects, Plugins, Cybia, Screenworks and use the same settings as before.
- Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel and use the following settings:-
- Pie Bevel
- Width: 12
- Smoothness: 0
- Depth: 2
- Ambience: 0
- Shininess: 2
- Color: White
- Angle: 315
- Intensity: 60
- Elevation: 30
- Deselect.
- Image, add border and add a 2 pixel border using your foreground colour.
- Image add border and add a 10 pixel border using your background colour.
- Select the border with your magic wand.
- Edit, paste into selection.
- Deselect.
- Image, add border and add a 2 pixel border using your foreground colour.
- Image, add border and add a 2 pixel border using your background colour.
- Image, add border and add a 2 pixel border using your foreground colour.
- Add a new layer for your watermark then merge all flatten and resize if necessary.
- Adjust, sharpness, sharpen.
BACKGROUND
- Open the minimized graphic.
- In your layer palette, right click and promote background layer.
- Lower the opacity to around 40% depending on the colours in the graphic.
- Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur and use a setting of 15.
- Merge all, flatten.
- Effects, Image Effects, Seamless tiling and use the following settings:-
- Mirror checked
- Bidirectional checked
- Horizontal & Vertical offset: 0
- Width: 50
You can now put it altogether in Letter Creator.
